A "neck & shoulder" shaped vase by the famous Swedish designer Gunnar Nylund (1904-97).
It´s made for the Swedish Ceramic manufacturer Rörstrand.
Wears original Rörstrand papersticker.
It´s made of stoneware and has a haresfur glaze in olive green with a little ochre.
Embossed abstract leaf like decor on front and back.
Absolutely lovely to touch!
On verso marked by hand:
R surrounded by 3 crowns for Rörstrand, Sweden, GN (for Gunnar Nylund) and ASP

Very good used condtion
no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
There are a few bubblebursts (tiny, tiny holes) which must be from production.

Gunnar Nylund (1904-97) was a famous Finnish-Swedish artist working with ceramic and glass.
He worked at Bing & Grøndahl in a short period from 1926-28 just before he established Saxbo together with Nathalie Krebs 1928-31. In 1931 he came to Rörstrand in Sweden and became shortly after their artistic leader. He stayed there until 1955 and also made several freelance works. From 1955 he was artistic leader at Strömbergshyttans Glasbruk.
