Extraordinary and unique vintage very large floor vase by Nils Kähler for the ceramic workshop HAK (Herman August Kähler) in Næstved, Denmark. Made ca. 1960s.
The vase is hand signed by Nils Kähler to the bottom.
It is made from stoneware and has a vivid amber colored glaze on the body and top rim. The neck is probably glazed with salt glaze.
It´s a heavy piece with a proud presence weighing 10 kg.

Nils Kähler (1906-1979) was fourth generation of the family Kähler. He and his brother Herman Jørgen Kähler, who were in charge of Kähler's ceramic workshop from 1940, brought the artistic expressions of the ceramic production into the Mid-century period.

The vase is in a very good vintage condition
Very minor spot with superficial glaze loss.
No chips, cracks or repairs.
