Tall and rare sculptural midcentury Danish ceramic table lamp designed by Per Linnemann-Schmidt for Palshus. Made circa 1960s. The shape of this Palshus lamp as well as the glaze color is very rare and unusual for Palshus.
The lamp is made from chamotte clay and covered by a midnight blue partly matte, partly glossy glaze with brown elements. It has an impressed dot decor. Very simple and yet elegant.
Included is a new quality lampshade designed and made in Denmark. It´s made of woven fabric with some texture and is off white. It includes a top cover so it will spread a cosy light downwards.
The lamp is a factory first edition. It emains in very good vintage condition with full function. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
